Sunlight
Imagine sitting in a dark room. You are surrounded by concrete; Concrete that has cracks in it. Through the cracks is brilliant sunlight that you have long awaited after sitting alone quietly for a very long time. That is me. I am the sunlight shining through tiny fissures in the walls, and the rest of the world is in the dark room. How can I make them see who I am? The only way is to break down the concrete. To tear down the only thing that has ever kept us apart. Light and darkness are a part of each other. They will never be separate for long. It's about time that I learned that. |
Booths
I found myself upset with you, until I saw the way you looked at me while I laughed today. Please I want to know how I affect you, Or something to that effect, to know what I do that makes you crazy, that makes you want to stay. run your hands through your hair and question your sanity, wonder about life's calamity. I am your peace, your missing piece, and all I can say is, "please, show me who you are. I am desperate to see your scars." |
